Our two little love bugs had a great first Halloween. We started the day off with breakfast out with Granny, who was in town for a visit this past week. The girls wore their costumes because Granny was scheduled to fly home in the afternoon before trick-or-treat time.
It turns out that Granny’s flight was cancelled so she did get to stay for trick-or-treating after all. There were two different parties on our street so we took the girls to both of them to say hello to the neighbors. Once again, I was amazed by how different their personalities can be. Lexi was lavishing all of the attention and was showing off her newly acquired skill of waving. She loved watching all of the other kids in their costumes. Kenzie on the other hand didn’t seem to be such a big fan of trick-or-treating. She was fussy and just wanted to be held by mommy or daddy – not sure if she was scared of all of the people dressed in funny costumes, or maybe just cold and tired.
