{little friends ...}

... BIG friendships in the making. 

I continue to love to watch Kenzie & Lexi develop friendships.  For a while they really just played side by side, but recently they have started really interacting and playing together with friends.  They talk about their friends and ask to see them.  They have various sets of friends ...

The children of our friends that they don't get to see that often, but ask about frequently.

Their neighborhood friends ... friends that we meet up with on the street or at the Farmers Market, or up at Ault Park.  This past Friday we met up for Big Bands & Bigger Beer at Ault Park.  The kids ran and danced and had a great time playing together.

They miss their friends when they don't get to see them.  Last night when I got home from work the girls said, "I want to go see my friend Emma."  They are going to miss seeing their best buddy Emma as often now that they are in preschool.  Lexi also said, "I want Esme to be in my class," referring to a little friend from gymnastics who is too young to start preschool just yet.

I am excited to watch these bonds grow.  To get to witness friendships that are formed at preschool.  To watch my two girls and their friends... what a pleasure.

... taking walks in our "super fast" exercise/school shoes, excited about fancy earrings, chceking out the new Ozo Play Cafe with Sara after their 2 1/2 year doctor visit, 15 mile run in the pouring rain, reading at the Blue Manatee, cuties out to dinner ... which now always involves frequent trips to the potty.
