The girls were great little travelers & were so excited to get to Granny & Pop Pop's house in New Orleans. They were very sweet with Nanny.
Trip down to Jackson Square for beignets at Cafe du Monde.
Sleepovers in Granny & Pop Pop's bed.
A visit to Pop Pop's office. Po Boys at Parkway. Smores in the backyard.
Randall and I ran in the Turkey Day 5 mile race and had a great cheering commitee.
Streetcar ride on St. Charles down to the French Quarter. Pete the Cat & Blue Dog galleries.
Lunch at Muriel's on Jackson Square. A horse & carriage ride through the French Quarter, which put both K & L to sleep.
Kicking off the season at Christmas in the Oaks.
Fabulous Cajun Southern meal at Cochon. A visit to the Louisiana Childrens Museum.
The girls loved visiting Granny & Pop Pop’s house. Between the trains, the fish pond, the birds, the bouncy house, making smores and the fact that they got to have sleepovers in Granny & Pop Pop’s bed I’m surprised that we were able to convince them to come home with us. The week was even more special because Omi K was able to join us for part of it. What lucky girls they are to be surrounded by so much love.
I am so blessed. I am forever thankful. My heart is full.
